The SANTA FE HUNT
RACE MEET Weekend
2008

Friday April 11
Saturday, April 12
Sunday, April 13

Please join the Santa Fe Hunt for all, or part of our Race Meet weekend. The race meet will once again be held at 3-Day Ranch, one of southern California's premier 3-day eventing facilities. All jumps meet USEA design standards, and the terrain offers interesting options. This is a great opportunity to ride this type of course without the pressure of actually eventing. Our veteran course designer Jeff Uhlik will once again be setting the courses to take advantage of the naturalness of the cross country terrain with attempts to simulate jumping obstacles during a “gone away”. There are also some new divisions for non-jumping participants. This meet is sure to be fun for all!

We are offering three levels of participation.

"Unlimited Classes" is a flat fee of $150 for participation in all classes in the race meet and includes Saturday meals: continental breakfast; delicious sandwich and salad lunches; and the ever popular Dave Kuhlman barbeque tri-tip dinner. This is by far your best value, and its easy to add or change your classes.

Participants who are paying "Prepaid class by class" must pay for meals separately. WE MUST KNOW IF YOU WILL BE JOINING US FOR MEALS BY April 4. There are no restaurants in the area so non-riding participants and those who are not enrolled in the "Unlimited Classes" plan are encouraged to sign up for meals. This means that if you don’t know exactly which classes you will be riding in you still need to send in your entry form with your “meal money” by April 4. (See entry form for very reasonable meal costs.) Thanks for your cooperation in this matter.

“Day-of” entries for classes are always welcome, but there is a $50 late entry fee for riders who enter on the day of the event. Prepaid riders may add classes on the day of the event for the regular fee of $35 per class (late entry fee does not apply.) Unlimited Classes riders may enter any class at no additional fee. Discounts apply for youths and USPCA members.
