About the Event
We are post poning this event for now. We will hopefully have a Hunter Pace in September or October, Covid depending. Happy Trails to you all.
Hunter Paces are held all over America. Santa Fe Hunt invites you to participate in this relaxed competitive equestrian event at Costo Ranch, Anza, CA. This is private land not open to the public. Hunter Paces are suitable for all riding levels and disciplines Western or English. Your team, consisting of 2 or 3 riders, will ride a marked course about 8 to 10 miles with a mandatory timed rest stop half way providing water and refreshments. With several division paces and challenges to choose from your team must attempt to come closest to a predetermined ideal time for that division pace (+ or -). These divisions are for all riding levels fast and slow with all jumps optional. Choose a start time between 9a.m. and 11p.m. when you register online. Helmets required for all riders (our insurance requires it). Prizes and ribbons for division winners to be awarded at picnic afterwards (picnic is included in price). In case of monumental inclement weather we will reschedule for the following day or week.
