Opening Hunt 2023/24
Every year Opening Hunt/Blessing of Hounds is an exciting time. Huntsman, Master Terry Paine, leads the pack during Opening Hunt and throughout the season. The Blessing of the Hounds has been held every Opening Hunt morning at Santa Fe Hunt since 1969. Visitors welcome to come out and watch.

About the Event
Our hunting season officially starts with Opening Hunt and blessing of hounds.
Stirrup Cup at 9:15a.m.
Blessing Of The Hounds at 9:45a.m.
Hounds Move Off at 10:00a.m.
Horses to be braided.
