Trail Ride and Introduction to Riding to Hounds

Santa Fe Hunt members and Masters will give an introduction to Riding with Hounds. This will be an informative ride designed to give the horse and rider a taste of what the sport Riding With Hounds is all about - riding with purpose. We welcome everyone that can ride a horse no matter the discipline or age - English or Western - fast paced or slow walk. In the morning starting at 9:30am sharp our experienced members will go over the roles of participants and guidelines of the sport, explain the basics of the game, how to prepare for the day before, during and after. Once mounted and in your correct field (group) we'll start the trail ride where SFH members explain more. After the ride we'll gather together for lunch (BYOLunch).
